Music Lessons in these times

In our current state of the world, we have to be flexible and change with the times. All the more with a pandemic on our hands.

The Glass Studio is committed to keeping ourselves as well as the people we see come through learning with us safe. We have to be conscientious about our health as musicians and performers. This has not been an easy decision.

The Glass Studio will run primarily online. On site lessons may be conducted with prior discussion of on site rules and the scanning of valid vaccine passes. If you do not adhere to on site rules, you can be turned away. This ensures that everyone gets the education and training they deserve. Bear in mind that our on site lessons are conducted from home which should all the more be kept as safe as possible so my family and I can feel safe and protected.

Thank you all for your understanding and cooperation. I am ecstatic to be able to provide this service as it has been requested for years. Some advantages would be that I would have no buffer time if I am required to relocate and you would not have to constantly change teachers as the industry changes with the times as well. I keep The Glass Studio as flexible as possible to accommodate schedules and lifestyles and I truely appreciate that my students are as understanding of me. Online lessons also mean if you are travelling for work, are able to have your instrument or borrow one and have internet access, we can still have our lesson! This excites me greatly that technology can enhance our experiences and keep up connected. Our lockdown clause ensures a routine which means if any of us are in lockdown, we can still have our lessons as well.

These are some difficult and challenging times. I hope that you give yourself and others as much grace space as possible and respect our individual needs as unique persons in an unsettling world. Be kind and take care.
